Liz Caan

This morning I got an email announcing
Liz Caan Interiors as the winner of

Are you familiar with Liz Caan?  If not, pop over to her
website for mucho eye candy! Her work is incredible!
I first learned about this Massachusetts based interior
designer when she was featured in Ivy and Piper and
instantly fell in love with her ability of mixing high and
low products and use of color.

Featured in Ivy and Piper
Loving the oversized whimsical art?

Liz Caan Studio
Do you want to come inside? On my tour
you can but if you are in the area you must
call for an appointment first!

Inside Liz Caan Studio are lots of eye candy!

Pillows made from vintage silk scarves
is one of her trademarks.

If you are addicted to Pinterest like me you have probably seen this foyer with the  chevron rug and pops of color.  See the kitchen in the background?
It's featured in the next photo!

Here it is!!!  Do you love it like I do?
Who says a kitchen has to be grand to be fabulous?

Mudroom off the kitchen with more fabulous stripes!

Here Liz uses Schumacher Chenonceau fabric to create the perfect room guaranteed to
 please any guest!

Wouldn't you turn a flip like the dude on beside the fireplace if this was your room?  The pops of pink and yellow bring personality to the room. See the amethyst lamp and yellow chairs
  in the background....

Close up of the amethyst lamp and chairs...

More lavender love!
What about this "to die for" dressing room/closet!
Yes, please!!!  Who wouldn't want that Suzanne Kasler quatrefoil Chair in lavender velvet?  Not to mention the beautiful wallpaper on the ceiling!!!

The perfect window in a dressing room!  The shape of the window is repeated in the shape of the chair.

Here she takes traditional pieces and puts a modern day spin on them with color and pattern.  Notice how she handled the awkward angle of the ceiling with
the use of wallpaper.  The bed linens are Leontine Linens in Fretwork

Who says you can't use hot pink in your dining room?
Works beautifully here with the high contrast of the
white woodwork.  Don't you love how she pops all
the colors in the vintage Paris poster around the room
with the yellow chippendale stools and fabulous blue rug.  For a similar color click here.

How many people ignore the landing at the top of the stairs?  Look what a dynamic space Liz created!
I love the Visual Comforts Ring Sconces on either
side of the doors.

The ceiling in this space is absolutely beautiful with the dynamic colors in the furnishings.  The plum leather sofas against the blue wall are fabulous!

Liz also does creative interiors without
 color like the room below

Ok, folks this is serious talent!  For someone
who has created so many beautiful spaces,
how does she keep her workspace so neat?
I need answers Liz!
