Thomasville Furniture at High Point Market

Thomasville Furniture has been making beautiful furniture in North Carolina since 1904.
Originally Thomasville produced one chair called the "Thomasville Chair."  The chair was so well received the company began to get request for other pieces of furniture and hence a brand.  Thomasville has grown from that one chair to a company that now encompasses  home furnishings, accessories and cabinetry.  To think this tremendous furniture
company began from the success of one chair!

Thomasville Furniture has produced two of the most successful licensed
furniture collections in the industry: Ernest Hemingway®, The Collection
of a Lifetime; and Humphrey Bogart™

Thomasville Furniture celebrated 110 years of timeless design by introducing
three fabulous new product collections during High Point market.  Shown above
is new intros from The Ernest Hemingway Collection which features European
country designs enhanced with a touch of Spanish flavor.  The second collection
introduced was Emerge', a soft contemporary collection.

Let's take a quick stroll through the showroom and see some of the
new introductions from Thomasville during High Point October Market.

The Emerge collection is hip, young and cool.  It is inspired by trendy, upper end
design and reflects a soft contemporary viewpoint.  The collection has a round side table
with metal trims and a traditional nightstand with three drawers for storage.

Hickory veneers are finished in a low lustre to create a rustic, casual look.  I especially like
the bench in this collection.

The Mirabeau bed wasn't new this market, but it is a consistent best seller and is shown every market in new materials and finishes.

Thomasville pays attention to details like the lazy susan added to the top of the Adelaide  dining table.  At 68" in diameter this table would be hard to reach across but with the lazy susan it becomes user friendly.  Handsome details like this are a trademark of  Thomasville furniture.

Thomasville is a great source for dining tables and chairs.

Ernest Hemingway's legendary wanderlust inspires this collection which includes furniture inspired by artifacts found along the Mediterranean coast.

One of my favorite pieces is the beautiful Lake Victoria Etagere from
 the Hemingway Collection.

The Hemmingway Collection is designed for customers who like to live a relaxed lifestyle.

Thomasville offers a wonderful office collection with beautiful desks, bookcases and file cabinets.  The Fredricksburg Executive Desk, shown here is a handsome desk which features 6 drawers with a slide-out surface that expands work or writing area, a drop-front keyboard drawer and two large drawers with locks for privacy.

Thomasville offers a vast selection of beautiful furniture for the every room in the home.  Visit the website today to see the entire collection.   As a North Carolinian, I am proud of the Thomasville Brand.  Thomasville represents a tradition of excellence in the furniture industry of our North Carolina.
