The "star" in our room will be hanging from the ceiling.
Words simply cannot describe the beauty of this 1931 Charles J Weinstein Art Deco Frosted Glass Starburst Pendant Chandelier. You must see it in person to really appreciate it's unique beauty. When Traci Zeller and I first saw it we knew it was a "must have" for our Gentleman's Dressing Room in The Greensboro Junior League/Traditional Homes Show House "Adamsleigh". Luckily, Bruce Crawford owner and curator of Modernaire collection in Berkley, California felt the same way. Bruce has been a dealer in modern design for over thirty years and really knows his business. He looked at the online pictures of Adamsleigh and agreed the piece was perfect for our project. The pendant was in keeping with the art deco flavor of the house and was created the same year the house was finished. Bruce made arrangements to have the piece available to us on loan. We are beyond excited and so grateful to Bruce for allowing us to use this beautiful piece in our room. It will be worth the drive to come see this work of art!
In Bruce's own words the inventory at Modernaire.net ranges from Art Deco, Stremline and Machine Age through the Post War and Mid-Century with a focus on signed pieces and known designers. If you are looking for a unique piece or pricing on the piece above, please contact Bruce Crawford at orders@modernaire.net or call him at (510) 649-3500 or visit his store at 2101 Dwight Way Berkley, California
