All work and no play makes for a very boring market trip so make sure to
eat, drink and make a little merry in High Point! Here's a quick guide!
Don't starve at Market
Many market exhibitors offer breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and cocktails in their showrooms. Assuming you arrive bright and early in the morning, you will most likely want a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. Most of the larger permanent showrooms offer food and drink, so I suggest booking early morning appointments showrooms that offer food, so you can work and eat breakfast. The temporary showrooms are typically don't offer food due to space, but sometimes they have food catered. You might want to ask when booking your appointments. It's perfectly fine to ask if they serve breakfast or lunch. If you aren't booking early morning appointments, but are looking for breakfast lunch or cocktails options, I have provided a quick guide below. To be most efficient go ahead and enter these showrooms into your My Market Plan as part of your day, so you don't have to give it a thought when you get hungry. There are always free waters and Cheerwine given out in front of the IHFC building. ( If you are a blogger and register as press, food and beverages are offered in the High Point Theatre Press Center.) When 5 o'clock hits there are typically drinks offered many places but I have provided a quick guide to places who have drink Sat. - Tues.
I have also listed the celebrity book signings and celebrity meet ups.
