Ron Fiore and his team at Bernhardt blew it out of the water again this market. Since Ron's appointment two years ago as VP of Residential Creative Design, Bernhardt has produced stunning furniture which would rally any in the industry. This market was no exception. If you haven't checked out Bernhardt lately, I hope you enjoy seeing these vignettes of beautiful furniture for the first time. [click header if you want to see more….]
The first collection is the Auberge Collection which is certainly "Chateau Chic". This collection with it's luxury "estate sale" look featured layered, chiseled, rubbed and enwrapped soft whites in fabrics, woods and finishes. Tonal luxury with a handmade feel is what this introduction is all about. So elegant and luxurious, this collection beckons you to touch the pieces in order to experience the softness and appeal of the fabrics and finishes.
In the inset shown above is the Auberge Armoire with padded and upholstered linen doors and sides and a vintage white finished wooden frame. The detail on the doors adds to the beauty and sophistication of this piece. The second snapshot features an elegant tonal beige, slate and ivory stripe chair, which I picture as the perfect boudoir chair. Next to the chair is an eglomise´ round table with vintage black finish. This table will add a little old world glamour to any spot in your home, but is especially nice next to the chair pictured for a bedroom. The last item pictured is the Auberge Vitrine in vintage white finish. In case you are wondering what a vitrine is, it's a glass display case. This one is exquisite with its cross mullion design on the glass fronts. Perfect for display of your favorite collectables or for use as a bar cabinet.
The next collection featured is the "Razor-Sharp Dressing" collection. Think Tom Ford, Justin Timberlake or JayZ. It's definitely bravado with a larger than life, sharp, sensual look.
Featured here in the first photo are the alchemy tables. These handsome tables are available as a desk, cocktail or end table size. Each is wrapped in hot new "Palomino" colored leather which is all the rage in the high end design world. On the left is the Kercher chair in dark charcoal, "Hermes" orange and white stripe accented by a dark wooden frame. Also featured in this collection is the Aiden chest with hair-on-hide finish and luggage handles. This piece is perfect for the man in your life no matter the age. It would also be striking in a foyer or a living area to add a touch of masculinity.
Last but certainly not least, is the "Winter House" collection
Think luxe country house with a flair of "Nordic" sensibility.
The Pisa ottoman in grey and black tipped faux fur is definitely
a show stopper for me. Imagine it used in a pair at the foot of
the bed or in threes as the footstool/statement pieces in the center
of a sophisticated family room/playroom. The textures and fabrics
here exude the warm hospitality you want your home to reflect.
This was a little taste of the goodness Bernhardt has to offer.
