Adamsleigh Show House...Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow!

Credit PVE Design

Well, The Junior League of Greensboro/ Traditional Home showhouse at Adamsleigh has drawn to a close.  Traci and I have been busy packing and returning all the fab products our partners so graciously loaned us for our show house room.  It is kinda hard when you get "high on your own supply" as Traci shared her friend Sarah's hubs is always warning her not to do.  Oh well, it's really hard when you are returning Christopher Spitzmiller Lamps,  Hiddell Brooks Art, Stark Rugs, CR Laine & Century Furniture, Circa Lighting, Katherine McCoy accessories and an incredible 1930's art deco pendant valued at 45,000!!!  Not to mention if I could have peeled that fab wallpaper off the walls, it would have come home with me too but it is where it is suppose to be!  Yes, parting was such sweet sorrow, but alas everything is almost back to its rightful owner.  I had grown rather attached to that sweet little room.  It's going to feel really weird not driving up 85 and taking the Groometown exit several times a week!  It was all so much fun!  Lots of work, but fun!

We really have no words to describe how we feel!  Our partners, our families, our friends we are incredibly grateful for your support.

I will be sharing about our partners every Thursday so you can meet this group of talented people!   I'll call it "Thank You" Thursday and share a post about each one of them. What amazing people they are!  The best of the best!  I won't hold out on you!

If you missed Adamsleigh in person, be sure to check out Traditional Home’s “Adamsleigh” Pinterest board.  It features gorgeous shots taken by John Bessler and Peter Rymwid, two incredible photographers that Traditional Home brought in from New York.

Thank you to all of you who took the time to drive to the house to see our room.  It meant more than you can imagine.  To feel supported by those we love and hold dear is the biggest gift you could possibly give us.  Think how sad Traci and I would have been to work so hard and not have anyone come!  You made it all worth while!

A huge thank you to Lauren Tilley and The Junior League of Greensboro for your endless hours of support from emails at midnight to securing Traditional Homes make this project happen.  We were so incredibly lucky to have Traditional Homes as sponsors!  Between the Junior League and Traditional Homes support we were able to have fabulous partners and a crew of people who were always there to help.

Traci and I are honored and humbled by the kind words and warm reception of our work.  Thank you so much!  We are so honored.  It was certainly our privilege.
