Sneak Peek of Dining Room...

I promised a sneak peek of my dining room...
I still have to bring in the fresh greens, fruit, flowers and make my centerpiece and decorate my chandelier but since that is going to take all day, I decided to give you a little sneak peek of what's going on in there....

It's funny, I bought that painting for my family room but loved it in this room too.  During Christmas, it is going to stay in here.  I love the old gold frame. After Christmas I may move it back to the family room and paint the mirror I showed you in an earlier post.  I bought those Barbara Barry lamps for the living room but liked them here with the painting.   That's what I love about changing things...everything old is new again!   Do you like how I channeled Mary McDonald with the peacock feathers and peacocks?  Mine probably came from India too, only I didn't get to go along for the shopping spree! What do you think?  Do you like?

I typically make arrangements for my buffet but
I loved this bright fuchsia Christmas cactus and decided it added
the perfect accent to the room.

Here is a bigger peek of that wall...

Once I get it all decorated, I will show you the entire room...

Since it is Christmas, I have a little give away for you!

I have a yard of this fabric that I want to give away.  Can you see all the great colors here? Green, blue, gold on an off white background.  It is from Home Accent Fabrics.  Would be great for two pillows, a couple of pillow sham fronts or any ole thing your little heart desires.  To enter, all you have to do is join my blog & leave a comment, then advertise the giveaway by tweeting, posting on Facebook, on your blog or share it with a friend.  Each time you do be sure to  leave a comment and let me know you did.
Don't forget to leave your email in case you win!!!

I will pick a winner on Friday,  December 16th!
