Congrats to Emporium Home - Ashley Childers!!! This Year's 25th Annual Arts Awards Rising Star

Congrats to Ashley Childers who won the "Rising Star" Award last night at the
Dallas Home Market 25th Annual Arts Award Ceremony!  In a couple of years,
Ashley supported by her husband Garret have taken the home couture market by
storm and make quite the impression on the industry as was evident by this award!

When I was in Atlanta last week at AmericaMart I had the good fortune of
seeing Ashley and Emporium Home's newest introductions.  I always love what Ashley  curates for markets.  Hailing from Little Rock Arkansas, Ashley's southern accent and warm hospitable nature is apparent the minute you walk in her showroom.   While I was looking around at the showroom, and chatting with Ashley about the collection I asked her where she draws inspirations for her designs and she said, "I just create things I need in my own home and then reproduce for market".    Can you imagine what her home must look like with all these fabulous products?  The magazines should be fighting to do a feature on her house!
Don't we all want to see that?

Ashley was first recognized for her fabulous Eclipse Agate chandelier below:

Next she introduced it in a Double Tiered option:

Now check out the newest  introduction in Atlanta:

The Burst Chandelier in Agate

The description in one word:  Fabulous!

Along the way of designing her amazing lighting, Ashley also designed furniture, art, lamps and accessories.  This market  she was showing current favorites from the line in new finishes which gave them an entirely different look, like the fluted dining table shown here with white base and marble top.

The Luna chair available in grieve or white shown here is available COM if you want
to use a custom fabric.  It is a really sturdy chair, that provides good back support.

Ashley has a flair for drama as is evident in this show space with deep plum almost black walls. The dark walls were a stunning backdrop for her collection.

Who says you can't put dark furniture on a dark wall.  Look how fab the Faux Bois Console in dark stain with brass inlay is dynamite against the dark wall.  The key to making this work?  The brass highlights the dark wood and then Ashley added lamps and sconces, a mirror for reflection and accessories with white stone bases.

As you can see, Ashley has an eye for designing beautiful furniture and creating warm and welcoming spaces.  I loved how she used the collection of mirrors over the console in this vignette.  If you look past the chandelier you can see five mirrors with quartz edges.

Here is the same table I style spotted last April  which was gold base with
stain top shown here in silver base with black top.

Lots of fabulous accessories in the line too.

Not new to the line but this gold studded etagere is a classic piece that
works in so many spaces. It is also available in silver as shown below.

The silver etagere has its place in certain interiors, but the gold is my favorite.

I stopped for a quick picture with Ashley who looks like she just graduated from college!
She has a daughter who is Miss Teen Arkansas who looks like her sister.
Follow her on instagram if you want to see if I am telling you the truth!

Congrats to Ashley and her team at Emporium Home for being the 25th Annual Arts Award
"Rising Star" for this years event!  I'm sure we are going to be hearing about Emporium Home and the name Ashley Childers, a lot more in the future!

This is what showed up on Emporium Home Website this morning:

That's Ashley!

Congrats also to my dear friend Shay Geyer and her team for winning Best Retail Furniture Store in the Country!  Way to go Shay and the team at IBB Home!
