I'm happy to share my studio partner, Traci Zeller's before and after of the Traditional Home "Randall B Terry" foyer today! Traci did a bang up job on the foyer by bringing chic style with a southern flair to this space. Her space is proof that even the tiniest spaces can pack an impressionable punch. Traci chose Mirth tiles in navy and white to ground the foyer and make the space updated and fresh with lavender Phillip Jefferies grasscloth and Pratt and Lambert paint. A handpainted silver metallic ceiling was the perfect choice to allow the beautiful Circa chandelier to take the spotlight and sparkle. What you don't see in this photograph is that the foyer is rectilinear and has another side exactly the same size as the one in the photograph above. See below in Traci's rendering of the
space.
When you enter the front door the vignette on the left is to your right and the vignette on the right is to your left. The space is approx 12' L x 4' W. Traci maximized both areas by providing art and a bench on one side for slipping on your shoes or dropping your bags or coat and a mirror and chest on the other for a check lipstick check when heading out the door.
Here is the opposite side of the foyer with the bench and Jane Booth painting. Both vignettes feature beautiful blue and white porcelain pots to accent the blue and lavender color palette. Traci Zeller pillows flank the bench which is a Ballard Design bench custom upholstered in an Aerin Lauder for Lee Jofa fabric.
Now for the before photo so you can truly appreciate Traci's vision......

I just love this jewel box! It sets the tone as you enter the home, is thoughtful (for those of us who like a lipstick mirror!😉) and just plain gorgeous! Well done, Traci!!! I'm loving your posts Lisa!!! Xoxo, K
